Lil Wayne tour bus shooter gets 20 years

The man responsible for shooting Lil Wayne’s tour bus back in April, rapper Peewee Roscoe, has been sentenced to 20 years in jail. The shooting had come at the peak of Lil Wayne’s feud with Birdman & Cash Money, with Birdman and Young Thug named during the court proceedings.
Peewee Roscoe was found guilty on 5 different charges, and will be eligible for parole after completing half of his 20-year term.
No one was hurt in the incident, which saw two of Weezy’s tour buses targeted after the rapper had finished performing at a show in Atlanta, but about $20,000 worth of damage was recorded.
Both Birdman and Young Thug had denied any involvement with the shooting.
