
A former Nigerian beauty queen, Dr May Ikeora
wants to put an end to the unhealthy choice to the attainment of beauty
among Nigerians by proffering easy access to natural, healthy skincare.
The former Miss Ecowas hopes to achieve this with L’Avyanna Skin
Naturals product line which are natural, results-driven skincare powered
by high performance natural and organic ingredients purposefully
chosen.
They include both male and female skincare products such as Super
Skin Detox, Vitamin C Face Serum, Power Face Scrub, Cooling Aftershave
Balm and Premium Beard Oil.
According to her, the beauty line berthed, “After many months of
research and testing the market to understand what our customers want,
we are proud to introduce our new line of products that carters for both
men and women.”

Although her skincare line of products has taken off to a rousing
start already in the United Kingdom where she is based, however, the
ex-Runner-Up for Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria is now seeking to extend
the brand into her home country of Nigeria. Beaming with enthusiasm,
she revealed that the products are produced in line with European
standards.
To this end, she flagged off that outreach with a media parley on
Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Lagos. According to her, this will herald
a proper product launch ceremony billed for February 2016.
Asked about distribution and marketing plans, she revealed that the
products are going on sale on popular e-commerce sites including jumia,
konga and payporte among others. In addition, she added that discussions
are ongoing with pharmaceutical and cosmetics chain store such as
Health Plus among others.
May Ikeora who has a Ph.D from the University of Hull emerged first
runner up at the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant in 2003. Her
educational sojourn began at the Queen of the Rosary College, Onitsha
and later, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, where she
completed her degree programme graduating Psychology graduating in 2004.
The native of Anambra State followed up with a Masters in Peace
Studies based on International and Humanitarian Law from the University
of Bradford in the UK.
Dr. May Nkiru Ikeora works as a gender and human trafficking expert
from her UK base and consults for international organisations and
conducting research on her area of specialty.
