2 . The forum commends and supports the stand of the Board of Trustees of the Party for their rejection of the imposition of Alhaji Ali Modu Sheriff for lack of transparency and internal democracy in the process.
3.The forum calls for the conduct of congresses at all levels of the party, leading to a National convention that should be held before the 28th of March, 2016 to return power to the people in tandem with the constitution of our Party and as encapsulated in our party’s motto: “Power to the People”.
4.The forum noted with dismay the threat on one of its members, Chief Femi Fani Kayode, by Senator Ali Modu Sheriff. The forum considers a threat to one as a threat to all.

The meeting is a follow-up to series of controversies that have trailed the emergence of Ali Modu Sheriff as the new National Chairman of Nigeria’s main opposition party, the PDP.
Since his emergence as National Chairman, there have been several criticisms about the manner of his emergence and also questions about his integrity.
Following widespread calls by some members of the Peoples Democratic Party for, Ali Modu Sherrif to resign his position, the Newly appointed PDP Chairman says he will not succumb to the requests.
