Celestial Church Pastor Who Chained Down his 9-Year-Old Son has been Arrested by the Police

 

Francis Taiwo, the Celestial Church pastor of Key of Joy Parish, who chained down his 9-year-old son for weeks for stealing has been arrested by the police.Taiwo had fled after his son was rescued by men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) following a tip off by members of the
community.Premium Times reports that the Ogun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, who confirmed the arrest on Sunday, said the Celestial Church Pastor was arrested with the assistance of his church members.

The police had previously arrested the victim’s step mother. According to the police, the malnourished boy has been handed over to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare for further rehabilitation.
Mr. Adejobi said Mr. Taiwo, will be charged to court as soon as investigations are completed.
