and Martins have been married for all of 12 years, with the Grammy
Award-winning singer citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for
filing for divorce. Blige asked the court to reject any demands for
spousal support and there won’t be any custody battles as the couple
have no children together.Blige, who has deleted all photos off her Instagram, had previously spoken about how careful she was in her marriage.
“All females for me, all guys for him,” she had said back in November 2014. “There’s none of that, ‘Oh, that’s my female friend. Oh, that’s my guy friend.’ No. Not in a marriage, I’ve never seen that work.”
