The Senate has called the attention of the FCT Minister to the
activities of herdsmen parading cows around on the street in the name of
grazing.Residents of Abuja have expressed their disapproval over the
multiplicity of cows grazing around the city in the course of which the
environment is being littered with dungs and movements obstructed.
This agitations of the people has also been heard by Kogi West
lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye who brought up the anomalie for
deliberation at the plenary.
The flamboyant, Melaye on Monday asked the Minister of the Federal
Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, to order past0ralists out of
Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja as a final solution to the problem.Mr.
Melaye made the call when the minister testified before the Senate
Committee on the Federal Capital Territory which is chaired by Mr.
Melaye.
