See How Your Lip Shape Say About Your Personality

Here's What Your Lip Shape Says About Your Personality
Poppy King will read your lips—no, but really.  the founder and creator of the famed Lipstick Queen line, there's no question that the entrepreneur has an affinity for all things related to a statement pout.
Who knew King also moonlights as a lip reader? Unlike a palm reader, she doesn't determine your life line or future, but rather, can determine certain personality traits and your outlook on life by analyzing the shape of your lips. It's not so much about the shape of the perimeter, King explains to us, but more about the way you naturally hold them. Pay close attention to the shape of the line your pucker makes where your top and bottom lip meet, and take note of whether there is a natural upturn, or if they curve in a downward direction. King analyzed the lip shapes of six different celebrities for us—grab a mirror, see which celeb matches your unique pout, and read on to find out what it says about your personality.

1. Rihanna

According to King, ample lips = big heart. "Rihanna's lips are full and straight, which suggests to me that she is very determined, but has a big heart and is kind," she tells us.

2. Jennifer Lopez

The slight uneven areas hint that Lopez has a playful side to her—she is still Jenny from the block, after all. "Her lips are wide, long, and a little lopsided, which is a combination that suggests she is quite mischevious and mercurial, but still determined," King explains.

3. Beyoncé

"Beyoncé's lips are very strong and straight," says King. "This suggests to me that she is very professional and very clear on what she is doing and why she is doing it." We wouldn't expect anything less from Queen Bey.

4. Jennifer Lawrence

"Jennifer Lawrence's lips are long and a bit lopsided at times," King says. "This suggests that she's fun-loving and unpredictable, but still a little unsure of herself." Stars—they're just like us.

5. Angelina Jolie

She's got a big heart, but still has her guard up. "Angelina's lips are full, but turn inwards at the edges," King tells us. "This suggests to me that she has a defensive side that is a little more wounded than you would think."

6. Taylor Swift

Going off her love song-filled discography, art really does imitate life in the case of Taylor Swift. "Taylor's lips are full, but a little pulled in," says King. "Thissuggests to me that she is very cautious and romantic at the same time."
