I will work for your Re-election in 2019 – Tinubu assures Buhari

 

A national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has pledged his support for President Muhammadu Buhari‘s second term bid, saying that the president deserved a

second term in office.Tinubu, who made the comments in Abuja on Tuesday, June 12 at the investiture of Moshood Abiola in Abuja, said that he would work for Buhari’s victory in the 2019 presidential election, Punch reports.

The APC leader commended the president’s school feeding programme, a component of the federal government’s Social Investment Programme.

Meanwhile it has been previously reported that the All Progressives Congress national leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, December 24, 2017 called on Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari to resolve the country’s current economic challenges.

Tinubu made the call in a Christmas message signed by his media officer, Tunde Rahman in Lagos.

He urged Nigerians to learn from the example of Jesus Christ “who faced and overcame the greatest evil” by uniting to overcome the country’s various challenges.
