Update:196 new cases of Coronavirus recorded, As Total Cases hit 1,728


 
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control have announced 196 new cases of Coronavirus bringing the total case to 1,728.

The health agency announced this on its twitter account on Wednesday night.
The NCDC announced that a total of 51 deaths have been recorded with a total 307 patients discharged.

In a series of tweets, the NCDC wrote: “196 new cases of #COVID19 reported; 87-Lagos, 24-Kano, 18-Gombe, 17-Kaduna, 16-FCT, 10-Katsina, 8-Sokoto, 7-Edo, 6-Borno, 1-Yobe, 1-Ebonyi and 1-Adamawa,

“As at 11:55pm 29th April- 1728 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Discharged: 307 And Deaths: 51.
The NCDC also revealed that the virus have spread across 34 states including the FCT, Abuja.
”As at April 29th 2020, #COVID19 confirmed cases have been reported in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory,
