Update: Kano Records 80 COVID-19 Cases As NCDC Confirms 204 New Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 204 cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, with Kano State accounting for 80 of the new infections.
The NCDC said the cases in the country had now risen to 1,932 as of Thursday, April 30.
According to the Centre, a total of 58 patients have died of coronavirus-related complications in the country.

The NCDC gave the breakdown of the new infections as follows: ” Kano – 80, Lagos – 45, Gombe – 12, Bauchi – 9, Sokoto – 9, Borno – 7, Edo – 7, Rivers – 6, Ogun – sm6, FCT – 4, Akwa Ibom – 4, Bayelsa – 4, Kaduna – 3, Oyo – 2, Delta – 2, Nasarawa – 2, Ondo – 1, Kebbi – 1.”
The Centre added that, “As of 11:50pm on the 30th April, there are 1932 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Discharged: 319; Deaths: 58.”
