
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has
confirmed 204 cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, with Kano State
accounting for 80 of the new infections.
According to the Centre, a total of 58 patients
have died of coronavirus-related complications in the country.
The NCDC gave the breakdown of the new infections
as follows: ” Kano – 80, Lagos – 45, Gombe – 12, Bauchi – 9, Sokoto – 9, Borno
– 7, Edo – 7, Rivers – 6, Ogun – sm6, FCT – 4, Akwa Ibom – 4, Bayelsa – 4,
Kaduna – 3, Oyo – 2, Delta – 2, Nasarawa – 2, Ondo – 1, Kebbi – 1.”
The Centre added that, “As of 11:50pm on the 30th
April, there are 1932 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. Discharged: 319;
Deaths: 58.”
