Gunmen have reportedly abducted former Speaker of the Imo State 8th House of Assembly Lawman Duruji.
It was learnt that Duruji, who is still in the custody of his abductors, was kidnapped at Oriagu in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area of the state on Saturday while returning from a social function.
Within a space of 48 hours, the former Speaker was kidnapped; more than three people had been kidnapped at various points across the state.
A businessman in Owerri, popularly known as Ezzybee, was kidnapped on Sunday while on his way to watch a local football match.
