Photo: Four-Storey Building Collapse in Lagos

A four-storey building collapsed in the Sabo-Yaba area of Lagos state yesterday afternoon at about 2:30pm.The collapse threw the area into confusion as people around the location heard a loud noise as the building came down.
The cause of the collapse is still unknown, but officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency and others agencies have begun investigations into the incident.

No casualty was recorded as construction workers at the building site were said to be on break when it collapsed.
A resident of Yaba who simply identified himself as George, said that "the incident happened at Coker Street in Sabo. The building is a four-storey building under construction.
